Titas of Manila is a point-point joint with a substantial menu with something for everybody's tastes. The Titas that serve you are quick yet patient, always willing to answer questions. My faves to order: kare kare, bangus, adobo (sometimes made with chicken or pork, sometimes a combo), halo halo, and their tortang talong. There are a lot of tables that you can sit at to eat, and they also offer catering! My family loves Titas!

Tita's of Manila generally has pretty okay food - and plenty: they had goat laing, chicken adobo, grilled fish (we had daing na bangus) and sisig among others. Like most Filipino "fast food" carinderia style where the food is spread out in food warmers behind glass where you point to the entree that intrigues you, Tita's of Manila has their food set out like that. Similar to Grill City, Arko Foods, Panda Express and L&L, they have combo plate deals where you get 2 entrees with rice or or noodles (pansit!) or both. As for taste, it would depend what you're into but each dish would get 3/5 or 4/5 stars. I liked the sisig and the goat generally has a dark flavor but I appreciated it. We got there at closer to two, and was absolutely starving but the lady behind the counter would not ask for our orders because she was getting ready to clock out. It took about 5 minutes (which felt like 4 hours! jk!) before the other lady came and asked our order. We got 2 combos, 1 bottled water and 1 sago (a little overpriced IMO) drink to share between me, my husband and little one. Like I said, food was aplenty! The interior has a happy orange trim on the wall with oak wood picnic table-style dining sets for those big groups. Easy to clean, hygienic and also warm and cozy. I will say tho because they seem to be horribly understaffed they don't get to clean the tables as well. I wish Filipino diners would start cleaning up after themselves and not leave water, juice or oil spills on the tables. Lastly, I took a video of the ladies bathroom which was FILLED with inspirational decals. It is a little tacky for my taste, but I really appreciated seeing positive messages - and one never knows who might need to hear / read them. All in all a good visit. Will be back at some point. (I've also visited Tito's next door... where sisig is great but service is HORRIBLE. That's for another review)

This location was originally the "PINOY-PINAY" restaurant. When Titas of Manila took over, we visited and were disappointed. Let's call it the "adjustment period" or "learning curve" of the new management who were still determining the effective system in operating this once very successful restaurant. After a few number of years, we decided to give Titas another shot (this 2024). We were pleased to find the steam table "FULL" - the way it's supposed to be. So we chose our items. Sadly, they did away with the 3-item combo. The limit is 2-item max. If you want a 3rd item, you will need to order it a La Carte - either in Small, Medium, or Large size. Mind you, they now charge extra if you choose "HALF-&-HALF" (half RICE, half PANCIT), and I believe - if you ask for "extra" items, i.e., fish sauce, lechon sauce, other sauces - pls verify. FOOD REVIEW: It has IMPROVED SIGNIFICANTLY from their first few months of operation, kudos! We were very satisfied. SERVICE REVIEW: Two staff are really very warm, friendly, nice, and helpful. Great assets to keep. There were other staff who are not friendly, always avoiding eye contact with customers. I am charging that to bashfulness or maybe they were just having a bad day. AMBIENCE: Very quiet. It has not achieved (i think) the same overflowing volume of customers Pinoy Pinay enjoyed for decades in this location. Maybe we just missed the rush hour, or maybe it's a weekend. Regardless, we enjoyed the quiet time. OVERALL: TWO THUMBS UP. Hat's off to Titas of Manila for the 180' improvement, congratulations!

Okay I was talking to my dad and he convinced me to try Titas again. He said when the food is fresh is really good. So.... Yesterday I went for lunch but around 2 pm. This trip has changed my mind. I got chayote, sisig, kare kare, pancit and the Ube crinkles. They were all pretty good. The star of the show was the sisig. We bought a large side of it. Also got some corn tortilla and made plenty of sisig tacos and if was delicious. The pancit this time around was cooked nicely. The other food was pretty good. I will now continue to come to this spot. I'm happy to come back and have a better experience. Also, the person helping me was very nice. The have us a good portion. They have me all the condiments I needed and was very helpful. Overall it was a nice experience. Thank you Titas!

152/2024 Renovated Place looks so colorful since my last visit. Breakfast with my sister ! Food server was friendly and very accommodating explaining the dishes. 2-Item Combo prices vary from $13 - $16 depending on chosen dishes. I got the braised pork hock ( asadong pata ) and pork blood stew ( dinuguan) with garlic fried rice). Pork hock meat dish was tender and sauce's sweetness just right. Dinuguan was seasoned but lacking in vinegary taste!! Now Garlic fried rice was perfect with the taste of garlic and its garlic granules spread out enough to have in every bite. My favorite drink Sago't Gulaman was sweetened to my taste and yes it was heavenly to me ! Will sure come back for dinner tonight!!!

I had ordered Pancit Palabok, Pork Egg Rolls and Lechon Kawali recently. The Lechon Kawali is the new dish that I ordered. It is pork belly fried to perfection! It was yummy and the skin was crispy. The palabok has a generous serving. It is has been one of my favorite noodle dishes. Pork egg rolls are always a hit! The container for the dipping sauce is good quality too. Will try more dishes here again. :)
